Aging in place can be a lonely proposition for your parents. You can’t always be there, but a way to help solve this is for them to have a pet.The companionship/affection can make them live longer and feel more ALIVE!
On the topic of having purpose and getting exercise; seniors can volunteer at their local shelter to care for animals and take them for walks—a win-win for the soul and the body.
